MTPRIMER – Adhesion Promoter for Sealants and Adhesives

MTPRIMER is designed to optimize the adhesion of PU and hybrid sealants as well as PU two-component adhesives on a wide variety of surfaces.

Using this primer increases the reliability and durability of every bonding or sealing application.

Use

Can be applied to: concrete, some plastics, stone, plaster, cement, wood, aluminum (with a fine brush if visible)

Instructions for use
  1. Test for colorfastness before application.
  2. Clean the surface thoroughly and degrease with MTCLEANER.
  3. Allow the primer to work for 30 to 60 minutes.
  4. Bond within 4 hours, but not on wet primer.

Precautions

  1. The product may cause yellowing → apply only in invisible areas.
  2. Not suitable for underwater applications.
  3. Do not use on PTFE, PE, PP, or bituminous substrates.
  4. Avoid inhalation and contact with eyes and skin.
  5. Once opened, shelf life is very limited → pour a small amount into a separate container and always close the packaging tightly.
  6. Use only in a well-ventilated area.
